About Pakistan super league

The Pakistan Super League (PSL) (otherwise called the HBL PSL for sponsorship reasons) is a men's Twenty20 cricket association challenged by six city-based establishment groups. The association was established in 2015 by the Pakistan Cricket Board. Rather than working as a relationship of freely claimed groups, the association is a solitary element where each establishment is possessed and constrained by the financial backers.

The Pakistan Cricket Board then started accepting tenders for franchises with a bid deadline of 15 November. Similarly, the winning bids were given franchise rights for ten years.

After seven bidders submitted formal proposals, all five franchises for the first season of the league were sold on 3 December 2015, for a total price of US$93 million.
